Dad seemed to appear from nowhere this afternoon. He circled the pond and headed towards the pine when he noticed something on the other side of the bridge on the opposite end. He headed our way and clearly saw the half eaten eel left by a gull. He was about 10 feet from us as we stood on the bridge and was completely unaffected by our presence. He did several laps over the eel and looked our way before proceeding down for the grab & head home with an afternoon snack for his 3 eaglets.
