A lifelong Long Island resident, I’ve called the Huntington area home for the past 40 years and reside in Dix Hills. I have two grown children who unknowingly launched my photography journey through countless school activities, sporting events, and family milestones. Professionally, I’m an engineering executive at a Fortune 500 company, but photography and the outdoors have always been important passions of mine. As a member of the Huntington Camera Club, I've enjoyed continually developing my skills and sharing my enthusiasm for photography with others. My passion for wildlife photography has led me to the magnificent Bald Eagles of Centerport, just a short drive from home. Having these incredible birds practically in my backyard is something I never take for granted. Watching them soar, hunt, and interact in their natural environment never gets old. Every visit brings something different, and the challenge of capturing that perfect moment keeps me coming back. Of course, the eagles rarely cooperate with the photographer's schedule, but that's half the fun! Equally rewarding are the friendships I've made with fellow photographers who share my enthusiasm. For me, it's all about enjoying nature, capturing special moments, and giving back by sharing the beauty and wonder of these magnificent birds with others!
