Since Dad eagles passing in December, Centerport has been a whirlwind of activity. Male eagles have been coming out of the woodwork to woo "The Queen of the Harbor." It reminds me of the myriad of fairytales and fables in which the "suitor" must show his worth.
Is he a good provider?
Is he handsome enough?
Will he bring her the moon and the stars?
I'm not sure what will win her over. A magic kiss? A glass slipper? Or possibly an eel??? No matter which eagle she chooses, I believe there will be a happy ending...
