Alisa Kahane

I've had a passion for photography ever since I was a young child and my grandfather put a camera in my hands.  Through the years, my subjects have changed — landscapes, wildlife, family, children and grandchildren.  But the thrill of capturing the moment has remained!  
Several years ago, I came upon my first bald eagle family on Long Island, and I was hooked.  I now look forward to visiting Centerport, just to catch a glimpse of their majesty and watch the story of their lives unfold.  Each visit leaves me wondering what I will get to witness at the next!
Spending time in nature and being able to capture some of those moments in photographs is both exciting and utterly relaxing all in one.  It’s been a true blessing to be able to find this escape and share some beauty with others through all that we’ve endured this past year.
